Again I was looking at CNN and found an intersiting article about ADD and ADHD in which i have ADD and take medican for it. For people that do not have ADD all the time but just some random days and don't know why well this article talks about some of the reason.
One can be a lack of sleep. With out sleep its hard for people to concentrate. Also lack of food, running on fumes and not fuel. A light snack with some water can give one a quick burst of energy. Stressing out can cause one not to concentrate as much as normal. A bit of exericse can help one to releve some stress and help one to relax.
Knowing some of these things can help me get through school because some days are harder than others to concentrate in class because of a late night and then a very stressful week when there are tons of test or soccer is not going well for me.
College students need to read this because knowing some of these can help when having to study for a test or having a paper to write. I know most people have to take 10 million study breaks because they can only hold their attention span for 30 min and no longer.

I was looking on CNN at the Health section and found an article titled "Paying more for alcohol saves lifes". At first I thought that maybe the more expensive alcohols are better for you but after reading it I found that out that is had nothing to do with that. The article was saying that raising taxes on alcohol has decrease the amount of deaths related to alcohol. That is not including deaths related to driving and drinking.
If they are going to raise the taxes on alcohol I can see how it might help to some extended but in the long run people need to learn to drink responsible or some just need help with their bad habits. Raising the prices is just finding a way to hide the situation. Yeah people who can't afford the alcohol are going to cut down on drinking but those are going to be the only ones. Also people who have a disorder with drinking are just going to find other ways to get money for fix of alcohol. I just don't think that raising prices is the best was to decrease deaths. I guess we need to do anything thing that will help.

I have been trying to stay the same weight or lose a pound or two. I exercise daily for at least 30 to 45 min and sometimes twice a day. So I have come up with my own plan to do this and also to see if have self control around food.
I have calculated my daily expenditure and then calculated my exercise expenditure. I came up with a number around 2300 to 2500. Then I have made a chart to write down everything that i eat and the calories of what i was eating. If I go out to eat before I go I look up the calories at dietfacts.com to find out what I am allowed to eat.
This is my second week doing this and everything is going great. The first two days i was starving because I didn't realize that things i had eaten before are so bad for you. A bagel with cream cheese is around 420 calories. I used to eat a bagel every day for breakfast. I have learned that eating yogurt is much better for you. With only 100 calories. The better you eat the more you are allowed to eat. I figured that out after the first couple days and things have been working much better. I haven't been hungry and I seem to be eating more than the usual just better foods.
